Governor Beshear, noting the rapidly increasing spread of COVID-19 in the Commonwealth, requested churches to suspend in-person worship starting this week through December 13. Bishop Leonard Fairley sent an email late Thursday night calling on all United Methodist Churches in the Kentucky Conference to comply with the Governor’s request. Our Summit Heights Re-entry Task Force met last night and the decision has been made to suspend in-person worship, starting tomorrow, through Dec. 13, at which time we will re-evaluate.
Even though we won't be able to gather physically, we will still gather virtually at https://summitheights.online.church, or Facebook Live, or YouTube Live at 10:45 a.m. tomorrow and the following Sundays. Join us as we worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and invite your friends to join us virtually, as well. To view Pastor Chris' message concerning these changes, visit our Facebook Page for a Video. You may also watch this video at our YouTube Channel, or our Website.
